• It is announced by Birch Bros. Ltd. and United Counties Omnibus Co. Ltd. that, subject to the approval of the Traffic Commissioners, from September 14, the operations of the following Birch services will be continued by United Counties, Route 203 Rushden--Bedford–Hitchin–Welwyn; Service 203M Rushden-BedfordAmpthill-London. Groups of excursions and tours starting from Rushden, Harrold, Kempston, S hefford, H en low Camp, Hitchin.
All tickets available for travel on Birch after the above date will be honoured by United Counties.
Birch Bros emphasize that the arrangement does not in any way affect their London coach private hire business.
