A WEEKLY container service between Tilbury and Rotterdam is being operated on a pilot scheme basis by two Unilever companies, General Freight Co. Ltd., London, and Algemean Vrachtkantoor NV. Rotterdam, in partnership with Eurofreight Ltd,. London. and Appels NV., Waalwijk, Holland.
The service provides groupage facilities with collection from any part of the country for assembly at a depot in South London. From Rotterdam goods can be dispatched by regular trunk services as far afield as Finland and Greece.
Shipment is via P and 0 Group's European Unit Routes Ltd.
