• Orders received for Commer and Dodge commercial vehicles during April. May and June exceeded E2m., says Rootes Motors Ltd. The NCB ordered 103 vehicles, including Commer 1500 and 2500 series vans, Karrier Bantam and Bantam tractive units and Dodge fourand six-wheeler rigids and 24and 28ton artics. Ten Commer VC models are destined for service with Ready Mixed Concrete. Hertz ordered 28 Commer VC4 and VC5s and a total of 66 Commer Walk-Thru and Karrier Gamecock models are for SEB. IPC ordered 44 Walk-Thru vehicles and "repeat" from Hoveringharn Stone for a further 12 Dodge K1050s brings the firm's total order to 35 units since the beginning of the year.
