Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

two weeks has occurred at a notorious bottleneck on the M271 outside Southampton.

Last Monday a fully laden Axial car-transporter crashed through the barriers of the northbound carriageway and rolled down an embankment during the morning rush hour.

A Skill Scaffolding truck jack-knifed across both carriageways; a pickup and another vehicle were also involved.

The M271 was closed all day while the truck driver was cut free. A man and woman also suffered serious injuries.

Less than two weeks ago a Swift Distribution 32-tanner ploughed into the back of a stationary queue of traffic at the same site. A seven-month-old baby boy died in that accident and his mother, Roslyn Brewster, died eight days later from her injuries.

During the rush hour long queues regularly develop on the M271 and its slip roads which carry vehicles travelling to and from Southampton docks and a retail distribution centre on the Nursling Industrial Estate
