Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Anyone who knows the RHA Western area knows Harold Russett is this year's area chairman, but he was not in his usual place on the top, table at the area's annual dinner dance last week.

It hardly seemed real. In fact, Sir Dan Pettit, the

principal guest, likened it to -Hamlet without the Prince". I don't know that Harold would agree with the analogy but we know what Sir Dan meant.

It seems that HR had just enjoyed a break in the South of France — or so I'm told — and then got caught up in one of those between season chesty things. It says much for the Western area men that they made things click along without their ebullient chairman.

I never cease to wonder how the RHA and FTA area secretaries find the time or the energy to run the administration of their areas and look after the social side as well.

Take Joe Cox, the Western area man. He recently achieved the 60 mark but is as active as he was when I first knew him.

How many years ago? That's our secret
