I was surprised when I read your editorial of March 18 in which you accused Ribble of giving you a "No comment" comment the previous week.
Although your reporter spoke to someone at Frenchwood which is, of course, Ribble's headquarters, it was not to an officer of this company. It was to someone in the National Bus Company's Western Regional chief engineer's office which is also housed at Frenchwood.
I have dealt with the media on behalf of Ribble for a long time now and I can assure you that Commercial Motor has never had a "No comment" comment from me.
