Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I was interested in the item in -Birds-eye view (CM, March 25).

Under the reference -Get in nowThe Hawk suggests that visitors to the Commercial Motor Show unable to obtain accommodation in the Birmingham area could travel on a West Midlands PTE service to the Exhibition

Centre, but unfortunately the incorrect service number is quoted since our express to the NEC is 900, not 500.

In any event this service does not operate for all exhibitions and any intending passengers would be well advised to check on facilities before making their journey.

Under the aegis of the PTE there is a frequent service of electric trains from Birmingham New Street to Birmingham International Station which most visitors find extremely convenient in addition to the normal bus facilities provided by our routes 58 (Birmingham to International Station) and 159 (Birmingham-Coventry).

Telephone inquiries regarding travel facilities will be dealt with at the Executive's inquiry centre 021-236 8313. F. G. SIMONS, Operations Manager South, West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive.
