Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TRICENTROL Coaches has just put the first stretched 12-metre Bedford YMT-based vehicle into service. The new coach carries a Duple Dominant II body and is reported to sell at £4,000 less than its nearest 12-metre competitor.

The chassis has been stretched from its normal 11.22 metres to 12 metres by Tricentrol Chassis Developments Ltd by extending the propeller shaft by 18in and putting another 18in into the chassis just behind the gearbox.

A specially designed interior gives 57 seats against 53 on the standard 11.22 metre chassis.

A Tricentrol spokesman told CM that the first production models will be delivered towards the end of this year, but already there have been several export enquiries for the vehicles.
