Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DRIMARILY because of its large

diameter pneumatic tyres, a Series HI fork-lift • truck produced by Matbro. Ltd., Harley, Surrey, has been able to effect economies for the New Process Breeze Slab and Mortar Co., Ltd., Rain ham, Essex. '

This concern, who manufacture concrete blocks, required a vehicle which could operate both inside the block production plant and on the rough, soft ground of their yard.

The Series III truck, with its good manceuvrability, has proved able to do this and, by replacing three men in the works has made-possible a saving in overheads of about £2,000 a year. Previously, the output of the block-making machine was limited by the availability of labour. Now it can be employed continuously at its maximum capacity.

A scoop has been designed for the machine and this fits on to the loading forks. It is employed to load breeze when the appliance is not handling the plant's output. The truck is also used to move semi-traders. The forks are inserted beneath the forecarriage to lift it and allow the unit to be pushed or pulled into position.
