• A new company, Plaxton Duple Parts and Services, has been created following Plaxton's purchase of Duple Services.
Alex Gibbins has been appointed chief-executive of the organisation, with Rod May as managing director. The company will be based at Anston, Sheffield, and parts distribution will be from a central warehouse in Scarborough.
Combining the Duple and Plaxton parts and service operations will result in a network of regional depots at Barrhead, Anston, Blackpool, Ware (Plaxton) and Hendon (Duple).
Specialist engineering support for the Duple 425 integral will be available from Duple Engineering Services, based in Blackpool.
