• County Fleetcare, West Sussex County Council's inhouse transport workshops unit, has won a contract to maintain the council's 1,000strong vehicle and plant fleet The contract, worth E800,000 a year, will start in January 1990 and run for fou years. The unit will also earl further E300,000 a year for maintenance of other public sector vehicles, including health authorities and other district councils.
