TRANSPORT PEOPLE feature among those who have recently been invited to become Fellows of the British Institute of Management.
They are David White, group managing director of British Road Services; Arthur Smith, group managing director of Roadline; Len Payne, director J. Sainsbury, vicechairman and honorary treasurer of the Freight Transport Association; Brian Hayward, group managing director of National Carriers; and finally, Frank Jefferies, director of Tecalenait.
Main qualification to become a Fellow of the British Institute of Management is "eminent achievement in the practice of management and/ or administration". Those who have made an "outstanding or original contribution to management theory" may also be elected.
