Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO NEW fork-lift trucks have been added to range of materials handling equipment currently manufactured by Coventry's Climax's range. Designated the EC2.0 and EC2.5, the new batterypowered fork-lifts have lifting capacities respectively of 2.0. and 2.5 tonne at 500 mm load centres.

Easier maintenance and repair and better driver safety and comfort are the claimed' advantages of the new models, which are fitted with a split overhead load guard to facilitate battery removal from either side. The battery is firmly retained in case of accident.

The EC range has a low profile which, with a steering lock of 87° and speed restriction application from 78° is claimed to have excellent performance.

Other features include access to the cab from both sides, anti-slip mat and footpedals, electric control system with a built-in safety circuit, adjustable hydrostatic. steering, battery discharge indicator and easy-to-operate charge from foot to hand direction control.

Standard options include, automatic fail-safe transmission brake, safe load movement indicator, seat suspension unit and height adjustment, and various lighting sets.

The new models are the result of further rationalisa tion of the existing Climax and Conveyance ranges and replace the 40, 50-EC, E4 and E5 models.
