:AV has announced an autoliative-type alternator with a uilt-in regulator which is known s the AC5R. It is designed for ammercial and passenger .Thicle applications, the integral igulator ensuring that a minimin of wiring is required for is charging unit.

The alternator is available in 2V form with an output of 60, 5 or 100 amp, or as a 24V nit with 32. 42 and 50 amp lutputs.
