Ombrello is a new windscreen coating, which according to its supplier Rejel Automotive, works in a similar way to Rain-X, but lasts for up to 10 months. It is a hydrophobic glass treatment that forms a chemical bond with the windscreen surface, increasing the contact angle of water causing it to bead, promoting water dispersal.
It can be applied in minutes to a clean, dry screen and will resist common ammonia-based cleaners, says Rejel. Other attributes are said to be better
reduced windscreen in the wet, uced windscreen wiper blade wear and easier windscreen cleaning. Contact: 01234 273388,
