Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

e have just read your issue 30 September-6 October and again we see more road checks equals more defaulters. We also see more abusers of vehicle maintenance, traffic laws and in general a total ignorance of safety.

We have been campaigning in the NorthWest for years in trying to improve things in general in our area. We believe that our campaign has pushed along the much needed roadside checks and also we have made known our fears to councils within the Greater Manchester area.

What needs to be done now is for a massive campaign to be launched to attack all the problems.

We believe that the way forward is to link up all concerned groups within the industry and start to face the problems with them. We also believe that there is a need to get public support in any campaign and that this should be a major target to consider later.
