• Vehicle coupling manufacturer VBG is staging seminars on the impact legislation is having on truck design and purchasing The first, in what could become series, will be on 16 November at the Lord Daresbury Hotel, near Runcorn.
Topics will include the increased operating weights for drawbar units, potential applications of the 44-tonne concession for road/rail transport and the planned Euro-standards for vehicle couplings.
