MR. R. G. SMITH, a Ministry of Transport clerk, achieved the highest aggregate of marks amongst Scottish entrants for the Royal Society of Arts Scheme B diploma in road transport during the years 1947-49. He has been awarded £5 5s. by the Scottish Road Passenger Transport Association. The three Scottish candidates who gained the highest totals for the three yearly group certificate examinations have been awarded £2 2s. by the S.R.P.T.A. They are: MR. J. A.
