Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• JDL Logistics, which entered administration last month, is to dose with the loss of all jobs. Graham Wolloff, administrator at insolvency practice Elwell Watchorn & Saxton, said: It hasn't been possible to rescue the company, so we will have to dose it in the coming weeks." Wolloff tried to sell the leasehold on JDUs 64,5831t2 warehouse as a going concern, after dosing the transport business at the time of administration. Closing the warehouse will result in nine more job losses, on top of the 29 that went when the road transport operation was dosed.

• UK pallet networks remain on course for a record year, with 03 volumes 17% higher than a year ago. Data from the Association of Pallet Networks (APN), which has confirmed it will continue to support the FairFuelUK campaign in 2014, shows 4.2 million pallets were delivered in the quarter. In the year to date, 11 million pallets have been handled by APN's members, 11% ahead of the 2012 figure.

• Freight journeys to the Continent in 03 reached their highest level since 2009. But the majority of the crossings were foreign-registered trucks returning home, the Department for Transport's latest ro-ro statistics reveal. Trips made by foreignregistered trucks leaving the UK totalled 431,000 between July and September, while only 83,000 were made by UK operators. Despite making more than 1,000 extra journeys in the period compared with a year ago, the figures mean UKregistered trucks accounted for just 16% of all journeys made to the Continent (2012: 18%) in the period.
