AFTER the Lord Mayor's Show comes the haulier, one has tended to feel. This year, however, he was accorded his rightful place in a procession dedicated to transport.
The Road Haulage Association entered the Ford Transcontinental tractor that has hauled its York exhibition trailer for the past two years but with a York flat-bed trailer bearing an eye-catching tableau designed . by Adrian Graves and Associates. This time waste disposal was a central feature of a display instead of a moppingup operation witnessed only by stragglers.
