A VEHICLE fitted with new taillift has been delivered to B.V.S. International Ltd. The lorry has an Avonlift chassis-mounted, underfloor electro-hydraulic taillift and a two-tonne lift capacity. It has a 7ft deep steel platform and will be used for loading computers and other similar electronic equipment.
The Avonlift NH range incorporates many safety features such as the controlled opening and closing of the platform and separate control buttons for tilting, lifting and lowering. Although the lifting and lowering buttons may be operated normally, the platform cannot be tilted until the safety override button is depressed.
