From the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co comes a new material for the tyre retreading industry. It is a nail-hole repair material, known as Simpatch, which is a natural rubber gum-layer reinforced with a layer of rubber containing nylon fibres • live directional strength. The erial does more than just the surface, it actually flows the nail hole and forms a I plug with a reinforced ic patch behind it. The need Duild or insert any form of I is eliminated.
impatch is supplied in roll • and recommended patch for truck tyres is 3in. are. When in position, the 'patch is stitched into place cures in exactly the same a as the retreaded tyres. It also be used for repairing n liner splices, damaged ds and for reinforcing tread ces.
