• Planet Computer Systems, the road haulage industry computerised systems specialist, is holding an open day to demonstrate its RoadMaster Traffic Management System alongside AutoRoute, Eurotach and Sage Sovereign Accounting System.
The event is at the Forte Posthouse, Great Barr, Birmingham on 4 June between 10.00hrs and 17.30hrs. There is no admission charge.

Supertruck screened
• Prizes worth £2,000 are available in this year's Shell Supertruck Ireland, scheduled to take place at the Ballymena Showgrounds, Co Antrim on Friday-Saturday 31 July-1 August. The event will be televised by Ulster Television in a special production to be screened in the autumn.
Entry forms are available for the Best Working Truck competition, which last year drew 150 trucks from all over Ireland. The overall winner will receive £300 and a trophy: all entrants qualify for free tickets, sunstrips and programmes.
