Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IN BRS's bid to offer Hoover a European trunking service includes a new trailer designed to meet Euro height restrictions.

At present BRS has a dedicated contract handling all Hoover's UK distribution from centres in Merthyr Tydfil and Manchester, plus a number of outbases.

It wants to extend this service to exporting Hoover goods to the Continent and returning with imports from Dijon, France where Hoover manufactures vacuum cleaners. BRS says the operation could involve three trailer loads a week.

Bob Dunning, BRS contract distribution manager for the Hoover contract, says the new BRS trailer would mean much greater capacity for each load. "Hoover uses a freight forwarder to export washing machines to Europe in containers which are limited to 116 units," ex plains Dunning, "our trailer will carry more than 200." He hopes to put detailed proposals to Hoover in a month.
