Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Speedograph Ltd has introduced a vibratory vehicle recorder that indicates the running time of the vehicle. It can be mounted in a horizontal, vertical or inclined position. Models are available catering for recording periods of 24hr or eight days. Standing and running times are recorded by a sapphiretipped stylus on a waximpregnated chart. In the case of the eight-day model, eighf charts are carried in the instrument and the chart in use is automatically changed at midnight of each day. No attention is required during the entire period but used charts can be removed after any period.

The instrument is known as the VTR standing and running time recorder.
