'HIS illustration shows the 1 Dempster Sideloder road/ rail transfer equipment which, as announced in the May 14 issue, is to be built in this country by Powell Duffryn Engineering Co. Ltd. This illustration shows the US prototype mounted on a Ford SM. Bolsters at each end of the load space, and a third near the centre, carry the tank or container which is transferred from right to left, or vice versa, by the sliding, hydraulically driven bail platforms; these are extended to pick up the container and transfer it across the chassis to the waiting road or rail unit._
