Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Van Hool has upgraded the 53-seat EOS just eight months after it began production.

The design was acquired by Van Hool when it took over LAG last June. Changes include Van Hool Lahellux reclin ing seats, a heated upper windscreen, electric sunblinds and a new five-litre underfloor water boiler which supplies a sink on top of a sunken washroom.

The electrical system and certain mechanical components have also been modified to ease production.

The right-hand-drive model costs £135,000. It is powered by a 264kW (354hp) Daf DKTX ATi engine driving through a ZF manual gearbox. However, Van Hool says if there is sufficient demand it will offer a Cummins engine and provide full air conditioning. The updated model also has a suspension which can be lowered and raised to line the first step up with ramps.
