• A new purpose-built truck park will open in Aberdeen next week. Called the 'Five Star Truck Inn' it is on the A956 dual carriageway in the Altens Industrial Park to the south of the city.

The park will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and has accommodation for 200 trucks. Facilities include a self-contained block with showers, shaving points and toilets, overnight accommodation in twin-bedded rooms in the leisure complex and a bar and recreation area.
