A SPECIAL insurance package for owner-drivers has been launched by Ernest A. Notcutt of Beckenham, Kent.
The package has rates and discounts which take account of the owner-driver's vested interest in the safety of his own vehicle and load, with a noclaims bonus of up to 40 per cent after three years. There is also a 20 per cent introductory bonus for a new operator over 25 with :hree years' claims free record.
It also includes third-party Droperty damage cover up to Elm, windscreen damage cover J p to £150, automatic cover for :ipping risks in excess of £250 in illy one claim, unlimited legal iefence costs, and personal .iffects cover up to £100.
Notcutt's scheme includes a aersonal accident cover of 5,000 in the event of the driv?.r's death, loss of limbs or eyes, permanent disability, and up o £1,000 for the loss of hgv icence due to accident or sickless.
