LIVERPOOL City Council I been asked to prepare a sche for the proposed Speke En1 prise Zone.
The 340-acre EZ, like th( planned at ten sites elsewherE the United Kingdom, will hE relaxed planning requiremer speedy handling of oth planning controls, exempti from rates for industrial prope which attract 100 per cent cap allowances, exemption from velopment tax, and no requi ment for industrial developmi certificates.
Companies, including haulii and warehousemen, movi into the EZ will also be reliev of the need to meet industi training board requiremer (while still being able to gain I benefits), and will not need provide the Government with much statistical information they do outside an EZ.
