PALL-EX HAS launched its new corporate branding this week, which includes a total revamp of the livery, marking the first all-new design since the network was set up by Hilary Devey in 1996.
Pall-Ex MD Adrian Russell says: “Our livery has served us well, but the market has matured and moved on a long way since we started.
“We wanted a bold new look that makes an impact, and livery remains key to achieving this [promoting the company’s image].” Pall-Ex has introduced the new livery on its fleet of 20 own-account vehicles operating from its Ellistown, Leicestershire hub. Members will have the option to make use of a central purchasing agreement the network has in place if they wish to run the new livery, and Russell expects momentum to build in the coming months and years.
Meanwhile, Pall-Ex has also signed its fourth European partner, opening up France to its haulier membership from the end of this year.
The as yet unnamed partner, which will operate the network under a master franchise, will have a central hub in the Orleans region of France.
“Expanding into Europe is not being done for glory’s sake,” says Russell. “It’s about providing the ability to sell simply and cost effectively [across Europe] for our membership.” France will join networks in Italy, Iberia (Portugal and Spain) and Romania. A partner for Poland is expected to be signed up in the next few weeks, as Pall-Ex works towards a target of a 15-countrystrong European network by 2015.
The network has just formally begun marketing its Pall-Ex Europe offer, which promotes services to 38 European countries, to customers.
