SDC TRAILERS has experienced a 20% increase in orders in recent months, thanks to a combination of new business won at trade shows and interest in its new longer semi-trailer designs.
The company had a stand at the CV show in April and also attended the Multimodal Show last month.
MD Mark Cuskeran says the business has now stepped up production at all its sites.
He explains: “Our attendance at the trade shows, where we unveiled a range of new high-volume trailers, has generated a huge amount of interest and demonstrated the levels of innovation and bespoke manufacturing that SDC can deliver.” SDC director Paul Bratton adds: “Because we were first with Vehicle Certification Agency approval for our current range of five longer trailers, many operators are coming to us to discuss the options available to them – especially with regard to specification and steering axle options.”
