• Omitec Instrumentation of Devizes has developed a portable diagnostic tool which meets the latest EOBD and 0131)11 emissions standards.
It offers the technician a set of Instruments and programs for testing auto-electrical components and systems, with tuning capabilities.
Included is a Pentium-based laptop PC with Windows 08 software, 64M8 of RAM, a 2813 hard disc drive, a 3.5in floppy disc drive, a 14in colour monitor and an integral CD-ROM drive. This enables product manuals and technical data to be downloaded, while the hand-held diagnostic tool can be used as a stand-alone scanner.
Connections supplied with the kit include parallel and serial ports, and a modem for Internet and phone usage.
