Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The driver of one of Toleman's new Mark V car transporters (CM 25-31 January) has been praised for his reactions during an accident where the vehicle overturned.

'Nieman employee Roy Pontefract was climbing a hill on the A604 near Bythorne last week when his vehicle was struck by an artic which crossed the centre line coming towards him on a corner. Taking avoiding action, Pontefract's rig hit the nearside verge and turned over. Peterborough Traffic Police have praised his actions in doing what he could to reduce the impact.

The Mark V, which was righted using air bags, was carrying 12 Ford cars: eight sustained repairable damage and one was a write-off. Despite the impact, none of the cars broke away from the trailer. The Mark V was later towed back to Toleman's Harwich base.
