• Kirklees Metropolitan Council has been criticised by North Eastern Deputy LA Brian Homer for the amount of time it is taking to sort out planning at the Slaithwaite operating centre of J C Bower (Plant Hire).
Despite representation the company's seven restricted licence was renewed but with a condition prohibiting vehicles from parking in nearby Clay Lane.
