Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• PMT of Stoke-on-Trent, which now owns Crosville Motor Services of Chester, has made a comprehensive review of minibus services in the city, including a name and livery change. CMS was bought from Drawlane in February.

The CMS name still exists on most of its operations, but it now functions as a division of PMT. Crosville's Mini Lynx minibus network has been rebranded as Minilink; the minibuses now sport the PMT logo and yellow and red livery. The original 15-seat minibuses have been replaced by 20-seaters transferred from the parent company, allowing fleet size to be reduced by 11%.

Careful rescheduling has created more journeys, says the company, and the network has been redesigned to improve city centre services. Fares have been simplified with the introduction of fare zones; there is an overall increase of 10%, but some fares gtay the same or have been reduced.

PMT stresses that the changes are the result of public consultation. It is already marketing other services as the New Crosvifle for an interim period.
