SIR BERNARD SCOT1 chairman of Lucas Industrie until March of this year, ha been elected president of th Society of Motor Manufac turers and Traders. He suc ceeds Sir Barrie Heath, whi becomes deputy presiden and also chairman of thi society's executive commii tee.
