Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I was a little disappointed that there was no response to your report (CM, June 7) on Frank Tinsdale's sudden resignation from IVECO Great Britain, née Magirus Deutz (GB) Having had the opportunity of working for Frank as general service manager, one must comment on the very significant rise to success of Magirus Deutz in this country, which without doubt, was a direct result of his expertise, commitment and belief in the product.

To many over the years he has been "Mr Magirus", and while times change and there is no sentiment in business, one wonders if the impetus he generated will be perpetuated.

Clearly, the industry even now needs executives of his outstanding ability and flair and I trust that he will appear again with an appropriate organisation, who need his brand of success and direction.

Doubtless, Commercial Motor will keep us posted.
