DUTE and vehicle costing, stock control and analysis of affic, and revenue statistics and the payroll for 14,000 nployees are among the tasks that will be undertaken by a rge on-line Burroughs multiple system computing network.
It includes a B6800 largeale computer which has been stalled for the Scottish Transit Group in Edinburgh.
The system will also be used analyse the recommedations about two million passengers mpleting survey forms during e Group's market analysis Dject — ScotMAP. FREE TRAVEL is now offered for policemen travelling on bus services throughout West Yorkshire.
The facility is available to all police officers in uniform and to officers who are not in uniform on production of their warrant card.
