Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CUMMINS have increased their market share as suppliers of engines in the UK over 28-ton tractive unit category.

According to the company, nearly one in two UK-built tractors registered has a Cummins engine. During the first quarter of 1980, 1660 British-built tractive units were registered and 46.14 per cent were Cummins-powered.

In the same period of 1979, 2004 UK manufactured units were registered of which 41.31 per cent had Cummins engines. In spite of a drop in the UK manufacturer's share of the heavy tractive market, Cummins have improved their position to take 21.3 per cent of the total tractive-unit market and 28 tons.
