Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CHUBB Alarms Ltd has recently introduced a microcomputer-based security monitoring and control system designed specifically for industrial complexes and the larger transport operators.

Known as the 8400-Senes, the system provides central alarm reporting and control from one compact desk top console incorporating a VDU display, integral printer, and operator's keyboard.

The microprocessor controls a multiflex communication system enabling a complete scan of up to 512 different zones to be carried out in a tenth of a second. Alarms are reported simply and effectively on a VDU screen in a pre-determined priority order.

An automatic time schedule provides for a different day and night pattern of monitoring, while a further facility enables alarms to be remotely signalled to a Chubb control station for police or fire brigade assistance.
