Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Able to carry 4.5 tonnes payload, yet weighing 0.9-tonne unladen, a new plant trailer from RM avoids DoE plating regulations.

Despite this, the running gear conforms to DoE 2J plating scales. The high payload-unladen weight is achieved by use of R HS in the frame, with reinforcing.

Hollow rubber-springs are used for the main suspension, and the hubs are carried on hollow wishbone arms.

For cargo use, body sides are fixed, but these and the tailgate double as loading ramps. A winch is available, though if carried on the trailer with a full load, the outfit would be overweight.

Complete with steady legs, lighting and three-line air brakes, less winch and ramps, the trailer costs £544. Available from: RM Trailers Ltd, New Farm Road, Alresford, Hants.
