• The Minister of Transport expects to receive the revised British Standard for re-tread tyres towards the end of this month, and will ensure that publicity is given to it.
Stating this in the Commons, Mr. Marsh noted that the Standard should lead to improvements in quality, and added that he did not propose further action at present.
