Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Special equipment has been installed at a new depot in Manchester to facilitate the cleansing of 100 tankers which carry commodities ranging from edible oils and fats, glucose and flour, to heavy chemicals such as oleum and nitric acid. The Trafford Park premises of Hargreaves Transport Ltd., which were opened by Mr. C. R. Hodgson, the North Western LA, on Monday cost £65,000, said Mr. K. H. Hargreaves, group chairman. This is the company's third area maintenance depot.

Covering 3+ acres, with a further 1+ acres available for extension, the depot is located on the western boundary of Trafford Park, conveniently situated to serve major oil and chemical manufacturers as well as Manchester and Liverpool docks. With over 12,000 sq.ft. of floor space, the workshop contains seven maintenance bays with inspection pits, two automatic lubrication bays, a tyre-fitting bay and a two-deck spare parts store housing over 5,000 items. There is also a specially designed eight-bay steam cleaning unit, six bays for internal cleansing of the tanks and two for the exterior of the vehicles. Administration of the Manchester depot is in the charge of director and general manager Mr. R. A. L. Tillotson.

The Smith and Robinson Tanker division of Hargreaves Transport was first established in the area at Salford in 1954 with six tankers. Four years later the depot was moved to Essex Road, Urmston, adjacent to the new premises.
