Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

booking agents are prevented from booking on independent operators with the exception of those having a local picking-up point, is continuing to monopolize the London coaching industry. The latest move is the sending out by P.S.V. Operators, Ltd., of a circular-letter to its agents asking for information as to whether they are bound by any such restrictive agreement. As the implication is that the agent so bound may lose his P.S.V. book, there is naturally considerable consternation among booking agents.

This action on the part of P.S.V. Operators, Ltd., shows that the independent operators are now inclined to agree with Mr. Gleeson Robinson when he said that they had the remedy against the restrictive agreement in their own hands. The Booking Agents' Committee, on its part, is to confer on this new development, and will advise its members accordingly.

Some action by the independent operators, in view of the impr, ssibility of direct negotiations between them and the Coastal group, was expected. .

The annual outing of the Booking Agents' Association will be held on September 5.
