Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Trucks over 7.5 tonnes are set to be banned from an area around Blidworth, Notts, except for access.

The county council's environmental committee proposes a ban on heavy lorries using the B6011, Forest Lane and Linby Lane as a cut-through between the A60 to the A611.

The 40-mile2 area ban is bor

dered by the A614 in the east, at Blidworth, to the A617 in the north at Rainworth and the A60 in the west at Ravenshead. The PapplewickLinby scheme will force trucks travelling from west or east to take a more northerly route along the B6020.

The proposals will now be publicised locally to gauge public opinion.
