• Spraytech Services has put together what it believes to be a unique licensing package for the application, by a new spraying technology, of Macrotect, a new corrosion resistant non-porous plastic coating.
Applied onto blast-cleaning metals at up to 500 microns in one pass, it can be built up in excess of 1 millimetre in one coat. Within a few minutes it is ready to be put into service in severe conditions.
The material is said to have excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, UV light, weathering, impact, abrasion and flexing.
The firm has a special licensing package for large potential in-house users, and one for contractors and applicators to provide "on-site" services.
