• Deltron, the new quality refinish system from PPG, is now available in the UK replacing Acryline as the flagship brand. It is a comprehensive package of products including: metal pretreatment; etch, highbuild, and plastics primers; solid, metallic, and pearlescent basecoats; two-pack direct gloss solid and metallic colours; two-pack clear lacquer — and high solids one-coat clear; and supporting range of hardeners, thinners and ancillaries.
Deltron has been developed to meet the needs of the skilled professional refinisher into the 1990s.
Deltron DG is the twocomponent acrylic urethane paint suitable for the respray of commercial vehicles.
PPG chemists in Europe and North America collaborated on Project 181 — the Deltron development programme. Their brief was to create a single refinish system that would meet the requirements of discerning , refinishers across the world well I into the next decade.
