Mi Harvey Liddell becomes technical officer for the Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association. Based at head office in Leeds, he will be responsible for monitoring and advising on legislation, and the development of issues relative to the bodybuilding industry. He will also co-ordinate the activities of the various motor manufacturers, insurers, parts and body repair liaison committees.
Liddell was for 12 years divisional engineer for West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive.
• David Webb moves from Lipe OE sales representative to sales and marketing manager for the UK and Scandinavia. He is responsible for sales to vehicle, crane, tractor and engine specialists. Frank Proctor, over 35 years in the commercial vehicle industry — including both Seddon Diesel Vehicles and Seddon Atkinson — is now responsible, as applications engineer, for liaison with all OEMs.
