• The Post Office has begun a series of monthly sales of surplus commercial vehicles. At least 100 vans, from one to six years old, are being auctioned each month at Central Motor Auctions' Shepshed depot, near Leicester. All are from the Post Office's Royal Mail Letters fleet, which is to get 2,000 new vehicles.
